Meet The Band

Ey up.
We’re a collective of musicians from sunny Manchester, UK.
We’re also joined live and on recordings by Sal (Percussion) and the wonderful Rhino Horns – Depending on stage size you’ll meet those guys too.
We write and play monster tunes with groovy beats and soaring melodies. We’re sort of kind of a funk band, and sort of kind of a punk band, we can never really pin it down and we like it that way.

As long as people are moving to our sounds we’re happy. We don’t ask much, just big basslines, top tunes and infectious rhythms.

whilst many people still listen back to the ‘Madchester’ era, SWJ Group use the inspiration but also new creation: putting out something powerful, punchy and infectiously catchy – Louder Than War

From humble beginnings to sharing the stage with icons like James Taylor Quartet, Tower Of Power and many more, we’re honestly just delighted and amazed to be where we’re at, and we’d sincerely love to invite you along for the ride.
We have no idea where this is heading, but as long as we have good tunes we know we’re OK.
